On Kapell & Annat We want you to feel confident with your purchase. We manufacture and sell Boat canopies , cushions, sails, accessories and customized solutions with high demands on quality, fit and service. If something does not turn out as you expected, we will be happy to help you find a good solution.

This policy applies to purchases by private individuals. For corporate customers, separate terms and conditions apply according to the quote, order confirmation or agreement.

1. Right of withdrawal for distance purchases

When you shop as a consumer at a distance, for example via the web, telephone or email, you generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. The withdrawal period is calculated from the day after you receive or collect the goods. The right of withdrawal normally applies to distance contracts and contracts outside business premises.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us clearly within 14 days. You can contact us by email or use the Swedish Consumer Agency's standard withdrawal form.

2. Exception for specially manufactured products

Many of our products are manufactured specifically for a particular boat, according to the customer's measurements, template, color choice, material choice, frames , fittings, embroidery or other personal instructions. Such specially made or clearly personalized products do not normally have a right of withdrawal.

This may include, for example:

Custom Made -canopies, sprayhoods, Cockpit Enclosure , Winter Cover , cockpit cushions, custom mattresses, sails, sailpack, Boom cover , embroidered products, and other goods manufactured or customized according to your instructions.

To avoid misunderstandings, it will be stated in the quotation, order confirmation or other purchase information when a product is specially manufactured or personalized. The exception for specially manufactured products is consistent with the rules on the right of withdrawal, where goods that are manufactured according to the consumer's instructions or have a clear personal touch may be exempt.

3. Standard goods and stocked products

For standard goods and stocked products that are not specially adapted, a 14-day right of withdrawal applies when purchasing online.

The goods must be returned in a substantially unchanged condition. You have the right to examine the goods in a manner necessary to assess their properties and function. If the goods have been handled more than necessary and therefore decreased in value, we may make a depreciation deduction when refunding.

The return must be sent back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you have notified us that you wish to cancel the purchase.

4. Return shipping

In the event of a right of withdrawal, you as the customer are responsible for the return shipping, unless otherwise agreed in writing. The product must be packaged well so that it is not damaged during transport. We recommend that you use traceable shipping and save the delivery receipt.

If you return an item due to an approved complaint, Kapell & Annat for reasonable shipping costs as agreed.

5. Refund

If the return is approved, we will refund the amount you paid for the item, including any standard shipping from us to you. If you have chosen a more expensive delivery method than our standard option, only the cost corresponding to standard delivery will normally be refunded.

Refunds will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the date we receive your notification of withdrawal. We have the right to delay the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have shown that the goods have been sent back.

Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase, unless we have agreed otherwise.

6. Complaints about defects in goods

If you believe that a product is defective, please contact us as soon as possible. In Sweden, consumers have a three-year right of complaint for defects covered by the Consumer Sales Act. Complaints must be made within a reasonable time from when you noticed or should have noticed the defect.

When making a complaint, we ask you to send:

the product's order number or receipt, a clear description of the error, pictures or video showing the problem, and your contact information.

If the complaint is approved, we can first remedy the fault, for example through adjustment, repair or replacement. If this is not possible, a price reduction or refund may be applicable in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Any cancellation will only be accepted if there are very serious errors in the order that Kapell & Annat caused. A prerequisite for a return is that the product is returned to Kapell & Annat undamaged and unused condition and in unopened original packaging.

7. Assembly, fit and support

Awnings and boat-related products often require proper assembly to ensure proper fit, stretch and function. If something does not look right during assembly, please contact us before making any changes to the product.

We are happy to help via phone, email, pictures or video call. If we have missed a detail or need to adjust something, we will do our best to resolve it smoothly. In some cases, we may ask you to send in the relevant part, and if the complaint is approved, we will reimburse reasonable shipping costs as agreed.

8. Non-refundable products

Refunds are not normally offered for:

specially manufactured or custom-made products, products with embroidery or personal labeling, products that have been assembled, modified or damaged by the customer, products that have been used in a way that has affected condition or function, and orders where production has already begun according to an approved quote or order confirmation.

This does not affect your right to complain about a faulty product.

9. Cancellation of special order

For specially ordered products, cancellations can only be made if we confirm it in writing. If work has already begun, such as pattern making, ordering materials, cutting, sewing or other production, costs for work performed and purchased materials may be charged.

10. Transport damage

If the product is damaged upon delivery, please contact us as soon as possible. Save the packaging and take pictures of both the packaging and the product. This will help us handle the case with the carrier and find a quick solution.
