In Kapell & Annat We are passionate about creating products that make boating easier, more comfortable and more stylish. Many of our most popular covers and accessories are available as standard products – ready-made solutions based on templates and experience from hundreds of boat models and customer needs. Here we tell you how it works!
What is a standard product?
A standard product is a canopy, cover or accessory for which we already have ready-made templates. This means that we don't need to come out to your boat and measure – we already have drawings, dimensions and mounting solutions ready for your boat model. You don't have to worry – we sew, possibly build frames and send it to you. You assemble it yourself with our clear instructions and instructional videos.
Among our standard products, we also offer awnings, cushions and other accessories that are delivered as original to the boat through our European partners. Let us develop the best solution for you! Sometimes this can mean combinations between our own produced awnings and, for example, a new original spray hood.
The advantages of standard solutions

Products available as standard
We have a wide range of standard products – here are some examples:
Sprayhoods – protect the ruff and crew from wind, rain and spray. Often produced in 2 or 3 frames with windows, zippers and smooth details that make it easy to use.
Cockpit Enclosure (Tent) – creates an extra outdoor space in the cockpit. Available in several variants. Depending on the size of the boat, the solutions vary:
Standard tent – low profile, follows the line of the spray hood
XL tent – standing height, removable sides and plenty of space
XXL/XXXL tents – large volume and stable frames with support legs
Cockpit cover – simple cover that is stretched over the cockpit during winter or during short breaks.
Cockpit cushions - Seat cushions for the cockpit benches. Usually consists of two longer cushions.
Winter Cover - usually Winter Cover on the rig, perfect for protecting the boat in the winter.
Easy to assemble yourself
Our standard products are designed for you to assemble them yourself. In each delivery you will receive assembly instructions, templates and a clear overview of fittings and fasteners. For many products we also have instructional videos on our YouTube channel that show you step by step how to do it.
We are of course available for support via phone, email or video call if you need help during installation.
Same boat in the future? No problem.
We save all templates in our large archive – so if you ever need a new canopy for your boat (or perhaps for the next boat owner), we can sew up a new one without having to start from scratch.
What are the limitations?
For most standard solutions there are options such as an openable front in the spray hood, pockets and solar cell attachments. Of course you can always choose the color freely. Other requests such as changed height and width, placement of zippers and the like that change the design are not possible and you will instead be referred to a Custom Made solution.
