Like other equipment such as GPS, refrigeration and other amenities, a good boat canopy is equally important whether you have a motorboat or a sailboat. Most boats come with an original boat canopy or cover, usually a sprayhood or a bimini from the shipyard. We offer both our own designs, but can also offer a new original canopy or cover through our partners. Through Kapell & Annat you can usually choose an upgraded design of the boat cover that provides better comfort, flexibility and usability than the original versions of the boat cover. Cockpit enclosures combined with sprayhood and tents for midcabin motorboats are a must in northern latitudes to extend the season. Custom Made or Serial production of boat canopies and covers?
For boat brands that are produced in series, such as Bavaria, Hanse, Jeanneau, Beneteau, Lagoon, Dufour, Delphia, Elan and others, you can order boat canopies with associated frames directly from our workshop. Serialized boat canopies from Kapell & Annat can be delivered worldwide complete with assembly instructions for your new canopy or cover.
For other types of boats and upon request, we manufacture boat canopies Custom Made. We book a visit to your boat where we create a model for the fabric and, if necessary, manufacture new frames directly on site that are mounted with fittings. Custom Made boat canopies is offered in the area encompassed by Oslo-Stockholm-Skåne and all of Denmark.
The options of the different boat covers are usually available regardless if you order a boat canopy serial produced or Custom Made. When making a quote request, please add your requests for boat cover options in the message box!

Boat Canopy Frames
A new boat canopy and especially an upgraded canopy or cover depends on the frames. At Kapell & Annat you can usually equip your boat with a new canopy for the existing frames or do a full upgrade with the new frames which allows for a bigger and better design of the canopy.
The frames are very sturdy and can be made foldable, upright or divisible so that you can have the boat shelter out as desired in any weather. Most frames are made of acid-proof stainless steel, which offers more stability and aesthetics.
